Become a Friend of A Call to Conscience
Interactive Theater for Social Change
A Call to Conscience (C2C) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit theatre collective conceived in January 2012 to accentuate and give voice to the issues of race, gender equality, and social injustice. Our mission is to give voice to the marginalized for the purpose of educating and to provoke the community’s conscience as a means to take intentional social action. C2C has presented high-quality artistic, stimulating, and educational community programs in libraries, schools, universities, and at the Missouri History Museum in the form of plays, film discussions, storytelling, and passionate community forums that address issues on racism, community violence, unethical medical trials, and other social justice issues.
C2C is looking for individuals who care about making a difference in the St. Louis metropolitan area by working as volunteers to help with our programs throughout the year. Our volunteer program is designed to allow individuals to utilize their talents, skills and previous organizational experience in support of C2C. Friends are needed help with fundraising events, to serve as ushers, manage information tables, provide hospitality to visiting artists, and support administrative and technical functions.
